The Citronelle Convalescent Center, a fully equipped 69 bed nursing facility, is a source of short-term care for the sick and elderly on the road to recovery.

The center provides round-the-clock services. It may be the intermediate stop after a hospital stay before the patient returns home. The short term care is with individualized rehabilitation programs.

Available therapy services include physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy. There are 12 Medicare beds. Twenty days are fully covered, and the 21st through 100th are covered under co-pay. Medicare/Medicaid approved private and semiprivate rooms are available. There are also social activities, dietary plans, and 24 hour licensed Nursing Care.

Activities Coordinator provides games, arts and crafts, parties, religious services, cook outs, cooking, family gatherings, outside entertainment, beauty pageants, music, movies, reading and gardening. There is also a large room with a fire place, big screen television, and a screened in patio.
